Summary:

Adaptiiv Medical Technologies Inc. is poised to scale the sales growth of its disruptive and innovative medical device 3D printing software for use in RT. The Director, Sales will lead the growth increase of the Company’s market presence. Ideal candidate must be driven to facilitate a culture of innovation, empowerment and speed to market.  The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and dynamic hands-on executive who relishes a fast-paced environment and responds with flexibility and resilience in demanding performance situations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Sales P&L 
  • Develop Sales key performance indicators to manage and track the performance metrics of the sales team at department and individual contributor levels 
  • Develop annual sales plans with the senior leadership team in support of the Company’s strategies and objectives 
  • Align the sales organization’s objectives with the Company’s business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting 
  • Must be able to successfully partner cross-functionally with leadership teams across Product Strategy, Product Management, Customer Delivery and Product Operations to develop and optimize the collaboration approach and process required to scale 
  • Develop and articulate a unique set of profitable and actionable growth strategies. Grounds him/herself in sound analysis of competition, trends, and corporate strengths/weaknesses, translating this data into unsolicited breakthrough proposals 
  • Define market strategies for expanding business on a global scale, develop sector strategies for the international market including targeting sectors and clients within different international markets, design penetration strategies for each market, develop evidence-based approach to marketing investment, ensure flawless collateral and metrics are in place to measure success and return on investment in targeted markets, develop a marketing management infrastructure aligned to new goals 
  • Responsible for setting proper performance goals and manage sales forecast accordingly 
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to capture insight on market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and end-user behaviors 
  • Identify process improvements and other efficiencies and lead implementation of identified improvements 
  • A single-minded focus on winning new business and an unquestionable record of success in highly consultative sales engagements 
  • Proven ability to lead, support, and maintain multi-year relationships at the senior levels of large, demanding, and highly complex clients 
  • Translates vision and mission into actionable quantitative plans 
  • Participate in key national tradeshows and regional events 
  • Manages people well; gets the most and best out of direct and matrixed reports through setting and communicating goals; measuring accomplishments; holding people accountable, giving useful feedback; developing others through delegating, keeping people informed, provides coaching for today and for the future 
  • Experience working with distributors 
  • Inspires others to perform at higher levels and embrace change, negotiates skillfully to promote a fair outcome or common cause; communicates a compelling vision and is committed to what needs to be done; understands and cares about what motivates different people 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Master’s degree in business, health care administration, marketing or a related discipline desirable 
  • Minimum of 10 years’ sales leadership experience within global Healthcare IT 
  • Experience in leading across functional groups and multiple geographic locations 
  • You come from an RT, diagnostics/precision medicine background with the capability to lead a software sales organization as well 
  • A passionate, high energy, results oriented leader 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to 30-40% 
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and synthesis skills 
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Exceptional team player with ability to lead through influence and drive high-impact outcomes across the organization 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a bias for action 
  • Executive presence and strong leadership 
  • Understands business on a global scale
